the throw away project
I'm really excited about the project Randa and I are doing for The Word Magazine. We called it The Throw Away Project - handing out disposable camera's to artists on festivals all summer.
The first festival we did was Les Ardentes, where we got backstage bracelets from JJ from the entourage of Cypress Hill. They played the first day, so we had backstage access the following days with our holy number 2 bracelets! We ran into a very wasted Adam Green, Health, Jamie Lidell, Midnight Juggernauts, Audiobullys, Julian Casablancas, Pharrell and so on. And into Pete Doherty, who - after we gave him a camera - was taking pics with it all the time, on stage and off stage - and then lost it. Ahrg.
